Review of Worth the Fight by Vi Keeland

Review of Worth the Fight by Vi Keeland

"It didn't matter that the ref called it a clean hit. Nico Hunter would never be the same.

Elle has a good life. A job she loves, a great apartment, and the guy she's been dating for more than two years is a catch and a half. But it's boring...and she strives to keep it that way. Too many emotions are dangerous. Her own past is living proof of what can happen when you lose control.

Then Nico walks into Elle's office and everything changes...for both of them. But what can the tattooed, hard-bodied MMA fighter and the beautiful and always steady attorney have in common? A lot more than they bargained for."

Who doesn't love a story about a hot, alpha male, MMA fighter?  His name alone makes me swoon.  Yes ladies, I am talking about Nico Hunter....and the lawyer named Elle that steals his heart.
Nico is H-O-T.  Not only does he train hard so that his body is in sinfully delicious shape, but he has the alpha personality to match. (One word = yum).  He meets Elle for business purposes and it is lust at first sight.  The sexual chemistry between them starts sizzling from the first page.

Nico has a traumatic past due to something that happened during a fight a year prior and has yet to return to the cage.  Elle is traumatized from her childhood and feels she can't tell anyone about it.

Nico and Elle eventually discover what we all figure out at the beginning.....that their chemistry is too hot to ignore.  As their relationship begins, they begin to heal each other.  Don't be fooled, there are several obstacles in the way of their happines - some so big they may never recover from.

I loved this book and I fell in love with Nico.

NOTE:  This is book 1 in  a series but can be read as a standalone.  There is no cliffhanger ending.  Book 2 will be set several years down the road and will be about two different characters.

Happy Reading!
